Dear Valued Customer,http://bipac.net/ip_mail/BraffordPhoto.jpg

Welcome to International Paper’s IP Moves the Mail customer Web site. The site was created both to help our customers learn about the activist-driven Do Not Mail campaign and to communicate with legislators in states considering these bills. These legislative efforts threaten the health of the mailing industry by seeking to establish state-level Do Not Mail registries that are enforced with harsh civil penalties.

International Paper believes strongly that direct mail advertising is an efficient, sustainable and effective method of reaching target audiences about new products and services.  At the same time, we support increased recycling efforts as well as improved industry initiatives to clean mailing lists and respond to consumer preferences.

I hope you find our Web site informative and will use it as a resource to help our industry stop this legislation. Use the “Take Action” tools to communicate with your elected officials about the issue if there is an active alert in your state.  And don’t hesitate to contact us if we can provide more information or arrange for a detailed presentation for you on this issue.

Sincerely,

H. Wayne Brafford
